What is a sound bath?

Sound healing or a sound bath is a form of meditation that uses sound to help us drop into a deeper state of relaxation and of rest, thus activating the healer we each have within us. Sound baths have been said to support reducing anxiety, decreasing stress and improving sleep. Through sound vibrations, a sound bath can induce deep relaxation in the mind and body and influence brain waves to go from an active state to a more relaxed state. This event will include a ~20 minute sound bath experience. Learn more.

Why near the new moon?

New moons symbolize the beginning of a cycle. It is often said to be a time to start fresh and to 'plant seeds.' The new moon phase, when the sky is completely dark, can be a powerful time to turn inwards and set clear intentions for the new lunar cycle. We'll be opening this event with a quick introduction on working with the lunar cycle and time to reflect and set intentions. Learn more.
